Take the Florida Turnpike (toll road) until it ends at Florida City then stay on US 1 South. Mile markers are all along the road counting down to Mile Marker 4 which is the entrance into Key West. Once over the last of 42 bridges connecting the Keys (Cow Key Channel Bridge) you have arrived in The Conch Republic. You must either make a right or a left at this intersection. Make a right and you will be traveling on North Roosevelt Blvd. Stay on North Roosevelt until you no longer see water on your right. You are soon headed into the Old Town section of Key West. Once you begin seeing old Conch Houses (Historic two or three story old wooden buildings) the name of the street will have changed to Truman Avenue. Stay on Truman Avenue to Simonton.
