  • We will definitely be paying another visit to the gardens hotel! Our stay was perfect. We did not want to leave! We enjoyed talking with Phil, who let us feed the tortoises, served us snacks, told us jokes/stories, all with keeping our drinks filled. love him! The hotel is centrally located so you don’t have to walk far. Breakfast was delicious also! Highly recommend staying here if you like a laid back, but fun and gorgeous atmosphere!

  • I can’t imagine there is a better place to stay while in Key West. Staff is friendly and tried to accommodate every request. I have never had bartenders like Phillip and Portia who were so attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. Rooms spacious and beautiful. Grounds and Garden unique. Location is central. This is also unique: fellow guests and the few locals that stopped may have been the most inviting.

  • Perfect location, right next to Duval street. You will not hear the noise when sleeping but just in 100 ft and you are in duval street. Beautiful decor, jazz in the evening, really good hot breakfast served in and out of the rooms.

  • The only thing more magical than the property is the staff. Friendly and helpful, not because they have to be, but because they are. Helpful because they want to be. One gets the sense that they BELONG when you are here. The property is spectacur. Rich in history without the pageantry. Understate, yet sophisticated. A truly exceptional experience. Along the lines of old key West, but with the local knowledge of new town. Highly, highly recommended.

  • The hotel was nicer than expected. Every little detail was done, from a quiet pool to lounge by, with a private bar, to a self-serve wine bar with a large selection. Breakfast was served to order, rooms made up daily, comfortable beds and the employees couldn't be nicer.

  • The room in the Garden Hotel is clean and the air is fresh. The hotel is very elegant and nicely decorated with antique furniture. The garden is so big and beautiful… The hotel has music (piano, singing) every afternoon. …had breakfast by the pool, enjoyed the sun shine… It is very convenient to all the restaurants, stores, galleries, and activities. This is 5 star hotel in my opinion.
