FUN THINGS TO DO ON OR OFF DUVAL STREET

Location is everything when trying to enjoy all of Key West's events and attractions, and our hotel's location will not disappoint. The Gardens Hotel Key West is situated at the intersection of Simonton and Angela Streets just a block off Duval Street, a lively street with tons of shops, restaurants, bars and entertainment venues to explore.

EXPERIENCE DUVAL STREET

Stretching over 14 blocks from Key West's South Beach to Mallory Square, Duval Street is the place to be in Key West. Take a walk down this world-famous street and experience all it has to offer, from bargain stores and high-end boutiques to a variety of bars and cabaret shows.

Stop by famous establishments for food and drinks such as Sloppy Joe's, Fogarty's, the Bull & Whistle Bar, Fat Tuesday, Margaritaville® and Rick's Cafe. Explore attractions or learn some unique Key West history at the Oldest House & Garden Museum. Or attend a local annual event, such as the week-long, adults-only Fantasy Fest or Conch Republic Days each spring. No matter when you visit, or what you want to do during your stay, fun, and entertainment awaits you on Duval Street.

VISIT MALLORY SQUARE

At the west end of Duval Street lies Mallory Square, a hub of Key West's social and commercial life that is home to numerous shops, restaurants, museums and a theater. Mallory Square is well-known for its Sunset Celebration that draws visitors from all over the world to see some of the most spectacular sunsets found anywhere. The nightly festival begins two hours before sunset and features food vendors and live entertainment from local musicians, jugglers, acrobats, psychics and more—all of which provide an incredible cultural experience.

CLOSE TO THE LOCAL AIRPORT

The Gardens Hotel's close proximity to Key West International Airport (EYW) means you can be enjoying our beautiful grounds and amazing rooms in less time than it takes to pick up your luggage from the baggage claim. We're only 3.7 miles away from EYW Airport.

If you're flying into Miami International Airport (MIA), the hotel is a little less than a four-hour drive away. It may seem like a long drive, but you'll be enjoying the tropical oasis of the Florida Keys along the way.
